The Apple Professional Learning Specialist is a full-time position for approximately 1 year with Apple in the Englewood, NJ area. This position requires a high caliber work ethic built from respect, trust and rapport with colleagues. The successful individual will possess a high degree of energy and strong social skills. This position requires a superior customer focus, extraordinary listening skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and strong leadership skills. You are an extraordinary teammate who can collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the success and growth of the program.
Key Qualifications
Exemplary experience as both a teacher and a leader at the K-12 level (instructing experience in higher education would be a most valuable asset);
Familiar with Common Core State Standards and content standards;
Demonstrate a clear understanding of the fundamentals of instructional design;
Exemplary leadership skills in the successful implementation of digital resources in instructing and learning;
Exemplary instructing skills in the context of 21st Century classroom learning;
Experience in improving basic skills and achievement across core content areas;
Exemplary use of digital resources across multiple curricular areas;
Creative curriculum development experience, specifically infusing digital resources;
Demonstrate a deep understanding of the components of successful professional development;
Demonstrate experience with professional development activities such as mentoring colleagues, offering workshops locally or nationally, presenting at conferences, etc.;
Experience delivering training and programs for students and parents on basic technology skills, the ethical and secure use of the Internet, and collaboration tools;
Excellent knowledge and use of Apple products such as the MacBook and iPad;
Excellent knowledge and use of software applications such as the suites of iLife and iWork apps, as well as other education-related third party apps;
Excellent knowledge and use of peripherals and apps to improve learning in areas such as math, science, social studies, English language arts and Special Education;
Demonstrate understanding of trends in the use of technology and national trends in education in general;
Understanding and experience in 1 to 1 learning environments is highly desirable;
Collaborate with curriculum and leadership to develop an effective learning plan for professional learning that supports the goals of school districts and individual schools;
Deliver high quality customized Professional Learning Plans for schools throughout the United States
Deliver customized professional learning based on individual Professional Learning Plans for educators in schools supported by Apple Professional Learning.
Handle both leadership and teacher professional learning to provide educators with the necessary skills and knowledge to help support the effective use of digital resources and Apple technology.;
Provide professional learning as needed to individual schools and teachers using a variety of strategies;
Provide classroom support for teachers and students in their use of technology;
Master of Education degree or higher and minimum 5-years classroom experience

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
