Facilities Manager Overall Responsibility The Dwight Englewood School is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker to join our Facilities team.
As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to ensure the upkeep, functionality, and safety of the school facilities.
Your duties will include routine maintenance tasks such as repairing and maintaining plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC equipment.
In addition, the Maintenance Worker will be responsible for general repairs, carpentry work, and assisting with the overall cleanliness of the school premises.
The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Candidates with a background and experience in K-12 educational settings are preferred.
Qualifications:
Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED Certificate required.
Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
Must have strong communication skills, problem-solving skills, and be self-motivated.
Computer literacy skills including Excel, Word, and Email are required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/OTHER:
Sufficient physical ability, strength, mobility, and stamina to perform job duties in hot, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
Snow removal is required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Uniform required (supplied by school).

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
