Responsibilities:
PTA provides comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT according to state practice guidelines.
PTA assists PT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
Physical Therapist Assistant documents the patient's daily participation and progress on progress notes in an accurate and timely fashion and obtains the co-signature of the PT.
PTA ensures MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
Physical Therapist Assistant adheres to all other documentation requirements as indicated and according to state guidelines.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited university with a BA or Associates degree in Physical Therapy that is recognized by the APTA Physical Therapist Assistant holds a current license and/or registration in the state (as applicable) Benefits and Perks for our full-time Physical Therapist Assistants:
